I live in one of the luckiest countries in the world called New Zealand. We have never had a famine or a civil war or suffered from a viral pandemic. We have so much food available that we have to be careful we don't become overweight from eating too much of it. We have no slavery and no forced child labour or child trafficking. We also have so much clean drinking water available that we use our spare supplies to pour onto our gardens and lawns.
Unfortunately this is not the case for millions of families around the planet. I would encourage all people who live in the top 1% of the world to support World Vision's attempts to help those in the greatest areas of need. I would particularly encourage children who have a fantastic standard of living to learn more about how other kids in different lands could do with some extra help at the moment.
